/session-status
A "you are here" map of work still in flight.
What it does
A mid-flight progress check on the active stream of work, in plain language: what the work is, what is done, what is in progress, what is left — scaled to the shape of the work rather than a fixed template.
When to reach for it
Mid-task, when the thread has gotten long enough that the shape of it has gone fuzzy.
It's working if
- Short work gets a short answer — you do not get a four-section report about a two-file change.
- What it calls in progress is what you have half-finished right now, not what you set out to do at the start.
- Something you assumed was finished shows up as still open.
